Charges
From Wednesday April 22nd 2015 everyone will be charged £2 to cover the cost of the ' Buffet' and the ' Drinks ' that are supplied most of the afternoon.
Guitar Group
Many people have told us ( The Guitar Group ) that we should have a proper name. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary on the 6th April, so we decided it was time to find a light-hearted name that conjured up what we are about.
Here's what we came up with.....
Guitar Workshop
On Saturday 28th March the Guitar Group held a ' Guitar Workshop '. David Phelops the Choirmaster had booked The Bridge to do a Music Workshop for the Choir, but had double booked the day with another appointment. It either meant cancelling the Music Workshop or thinking of another alternative to make use of the premises. In stepped the Guitar Group. So many people have been interested in learning the guitar that it seemed an ideal opportunity to have a ' Beginners Guitar Workshop '.
We had a great afternoon and it was fun for the Guitar Group to teach others what they have picked up over the last year or so. All newcomers were given a Guitar Buddy to help them progress through each stage of the ' Workshop '.
